After earning a degree in Social Science, Sociology & Psychology, Jon worked in marketing and market research at Granada TV before joining MTV Europe and helping it expand across the continent. He was headhunted by Disney, then joined ad agency BMP, becoming Head of Strategy at age 27. His next stop was media agency PHD, where he became Joint Managing Director and helped win Media Agency of the Year. In 2000, Jon co-founded groundbreaking international communications agency Naked, where he pioneered the idea of media neutrality and often spoke at the World Federation of Advertisers. He worked with clients like Coca-Cola and Unilever, and over 13 years, grew Naked into an international group with offices in New York, Melbourne, Sao Paolo, Paris, Singapore, Dubai and Tokyo. In 2014, he joined Karmarama as Executive Chairman, expanding agency capabilities around data and mobile, growing clients’ business through strategy and creativity, and overseeing acquisition by Accenture Interactive.
