This Panel will discuss how the U.S. Military and federal agencies, such as the Veterans Administration (VA), the Department of Defense Education Activity (DODEA) and similar organizations for decades have utilized music therapy and historically proven its benefits to veterans. It will lay out solutions to total wellness care with proven best practices for treating these populations. Attendees will meet and hear from partnering companies who are moving service delivery to online platforms that provide music education and music therapy services, using supportive digital health music-based technologies in its treatment to provide access to thousands of additional veterans across the underserved entire VA system. Successful current pilot programs at the VA will be highlighted.
