Featured Session: Marvel Comics: The Oral History of the X-Men
Marvel’s Editor in Chief C.B. Cebulski and EVP, Creative Director + fan-favorite writer/artist Joe Quesada lead an interactive discussion on the storied history of the most beloved super hero team of all time, the X-Men! In 1963, legendary creative duo Stan Lee and Jack Kirby brought the “strangest teens of all,” the X-Men, into the world and faced them off against their greatest foe, Magneto! They could not have imagined at the time that they were launching a franchise that would revolutionize the comics medium and completely re-define the boundaries of super hero fiction for decades to come. Join C.B. and Joe as they share the history behind the entire evolution of these characters from their creation, to their seminal reinventions in the 70s, 80s and 90s, to their various TV & film iterations, and finally to the current startling world of the HOUSE OF X that has captivated fans and critics alike!
