Historic HBCUs Lend a Helping Hand in Our Present
HBCUs or Historically Black Colleges and Universities have a long and storied history in this country. The majority of Black doctors, lawyers, engineers, professors, and other professional designations matriculate at some point through an HBCU. However, though HBCUs have had an undeniable educational impact on this country, desegregation and other factors have left some of these institutions struggling to survive. Join me to learn more about the history of HBCUs, current challenges, and why they are so important to the development of generations passed and present .
