While some agencies have signed the WGA's new Code of Conduct in order to keep their franchised relationship, the "big four" are battling the WGA in the courtroom. This presentation will explain the history and use of packaging (and the related growing fees), the expansion of agencies into the production arena through affiliated companies, and the legal and ethical issues that follow it all.
