We use our language to communicate with each other every day, and use plenty of subtle metaphors to do that. "There is no contact result matching that query" sounds a lot more robotic than "I couldn't find anyone by that name." As humans, and voice designers, we speak and think in metaphors. In this session we will go over how to use metaphor in conversation design, some metaphor dos and don'ts, and how you can make digital assistant interactions feel more natural and conversational by using metaphors.
