#HarnessingAnger

Harnessing Anger to Create Change in Podcasting

There is a sense of helplessness that many are feeling when we look at the news, look around our communities and look at the progress we are making professionally. At some point, that hopeless feeling becomes anger. We become tired of stories being told through one lens, (usually focused by straight, white, cis men). We become tired of having to constantly point out injustices, exclusion and having our voices ignored. We become enraged that our creativity and voices are stifled within a system designed to keep us down and out of positions of power.
This panel will discuss the specifics of what we can do to take that anger and focus it so that we, as individuals, occupy positions of power and make the changes that originally tired us, by having to convince others to make.
