UX Beyond the Screen: Designing for AR/VR
Augmented & virtual reality are rapidly developing technologies that have the potential to transform the way we work and live. Many companies are starting to invest in AR/VR and asking their designers to explore the possibilities. But no matter how long you’ve been a designer, crossing over from 2D to 3D design can leave you feeling like you’re in unfamiliar territory. There’s no established set of design patterns and interactions to draw upon, the hardware can be limiting, and the traditional UX workflow doesn’t always apply. It can be tough to know how to even get started.
