Creating Next Generation Entertainment

Hosted by Russ Harding Executive Producer at Maze Theory, the VR entertainment studio responsible for the first Doctor Who VR game and the upcoming Peaky Blinders VR Game, the panel will include the Licensing Manager from BBC Studios (John Kavanagh) and Director of Games at Endemol Shine (Anil Mistry). The panel will explore the potential of VR and XR in telling bold new entertainment stories, particularly focusing on how VR (currently in the hands of gamers), will become mass media entertainment to rival film, tv and theatre. We'll look at new technologies unique to VR/XR have the potential to propel the medium forward and how big IP's and properties can benefit from this. Plus we'll look at how the art of storytelling needs to adapt within this new medium.
