We all know about the nefarious uses of deepfakes. But what about the brighter side, that isn’t all doom and gloom? What if deepfakes actually provide opportunities for creativity, borderless language, or even eternal life? We’re seeing more positive applications of deepfake technology, like two artists and who created a deepfake of Mark Zuckerberg to warn us about Facebook’s omnipotent power, or Nvidia’s AI model that can take video of the real world and use it to generate a realistic and interactive virtual world.
