Charting the Uncharted Universe
Beyond our planet, big problems to tackle remain: from debris polluting our home galaxy to the fact that 95% of the Universe consists of two forces scientists do not understand: dark matter and dark energy. To illuminate the unknowns requires quantifying the space junk that’s out there and collecting the missing pieces to reveal explanations for all non-matter in the Universe. Join experts Karl Gebhardt, Katie Freese and Moriba Jah in a discussion about mapping the distant galaxies, where do MACHOs and WIMPs fit in and how this impacts our near-earth space.
