Social Sustainability: Youth Sports Reimagined
Are we in a grassroots crisis? Organized sports are largely enabled by grassroots coaches and volunteers, who give up their time to coach young people and adults in a sport they love. As a result, millions of children are able to enjoy sports every single day, some of which go on to become Olympic heros and world-class athletes. Join a diverse panel of organized sports experts as they explore society’s and technology’s role in reinventing the sports ecosystem to produce strong communities and top athletes and identify the sustainability threats to grassroots coaching and volunteering.
