Cannabis for the Culture
Lack of diversity in the cannabis industry is a problem for the market morally and economically. Black, brown and low-income communities have long been centerpieces of modern cannabis culture. Yet these same communities, after being disproportionately targeted by cannabis prohibition enforcement, are struggling to find any benefits from the legalization movement.
Join this panel of experts in a candid conversation about the important role that POC must play in the green rush. Entrepreneurs will discuss business startup struggles, like transitioning from the black market, industry leaders will discuss how cannabis can be more impactful in wellness and community uplift, and a cultural Hip-Hop icon will guide the audience to an understanding of why cannabis must be for the culture.
