Equal parts cool girl and the girl next door, Monument Records recording artist Sam DeRosa is the best friend music lovers didn't know they had. A songwriter in her own rite, with cuts like "Broken" by lovelytheband, producers from the NBC show Songland took notice. After appearing on the show, fans fell in love with DeRosa's ability to write songs that capture the raw emotions of love and loss with heartbreaking personal yet universally relatable lyrics. Originally from New York, DeRosa attended Berklee College of Music before moving to Los Angeles full time to pursue music. Her song "Pill For This" from Songland is out now.
