Ase Manual is a Yoruba-American artist and DJ. He is among the most vibrant artists of experimental electronic and club sounds, drawing inspirations from Jersey Club and Ballroom. During a two year stint in Lagos Nigeria Ase connected with the Yoruba heritage and has drawn a lot of inspiration from his ancestral home. Once back in NJ he dived head first in to the eclectic and powerful club sounds of his home state and made a name for hims self both in Jersey Club and Ballroom circuits. Ase Manual has defined himself by his own take on club music by delivering a soul-driven sound maneuvering between booty bounce, club trax and melodic jams.
Ase Manual released his debut full length “Gems” in 2016 on LIKE THAT Records, last year his Sophomore album “Lumi” dropped and immediately got him on the road in Europe. In-between the two albums he also released a series of club heaters like Feel It and 50,000 just to book me. In 2018 Ase released a highly praised rendition album of the Black Panther Soundtrack and created a bold instrumental re-imagination of the Afro futuristic rap sound track.
