The Chris Lee Band
Chris Lee is best known as the front man and rhythm guitarist for the rock and roll band SUPAGROUP, flag bearers of good time hard rock from 1997 to 2012. SUPAGROUP brought it's incredible live show to over 1,200 performances around the globe with such bands as Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, Pearl Jam, Alice Cooper, Wolfmother, Andrew W. K., Cheap Trick, Supersuckers, Nashville Pussy, My Morning Jacket, Rev. Horton Heat, Backyard Babies, and Whitesnake.
With THE CHRIS LEE BAND and his first solo record, PROTEST SONGS AND PARTY ANTHEMS, Lee is back to give his blistering take on Trump, today’s GOP, and shout a warning about the potential end of the American Republic. “I thought I was done with music, but the news (since the 2016 election) drew me back in. So I started to write songs.” The result is the jaw-dropping album that tackles today’s political hypocrisy, thievery, and cheats who are currently trying to create a fascist monarchy. PSAPA is exactly what it purports to be; the message music of Arlo Guthrie set to Cheap Trick like rock anthems. John Gray (drums), Johnny Brashear (guitar), Travis Stewart (guitar), and Steve Watson (bass) round out the band.
