Chainska Brassika

Bad Habits

Chainska Brassika are an energetic eight-piece Ska-Reggae band from South East London. Their highly unique sound blends dulcet tones with high-energy Ska rhythms; Reggae passages coated in magnificent Brass lines and the rough lyrics alongside sweet melodic vocals. Audiences across the UK and beyond have witnessed their pulsating live show, dancing their socks off to the irresistible Chainska bounce!
Chainska Brassika have performed in various venues, from completing stadium tours with Madness to supporting Toots & the Maytals, both in the studio and at London’s famous Alexandra Palace, the World Reggae Contest Champions are duly making a name for themselves on a global level, having had the crowds rocking from Glastonbury to Notting Hill Carnival, Rototom Sunsplash European Reggae Festival to Outlook Festival, and the shores of Jamaica - it’s safe to say their headline tours are notorious! Following the release of the albums “Skinna” and “Harry J Business” - the latter produced by double Grammy Award winning producer Stephen Stewart at the legendary Harry J Studios in Jamaica - the band released the "Calm City" single after a BBC Maida Vale Live session for David Rodigan MBE.
