AkayCentric, born Akinola Olumuyiwa Oshodi on February 8 is a Nigerian Afropop singer, songwriter and entrepreneur.
AkayCentric hails from Epetedo in Lagos State, Nigeria and has a degree in Accounting and Education from Lagos State University, but music has always been his first love.
This Nigerian singer started music officially in 2010 and was known as AKAY until 2017 when he changed his stage name to AKAYCENTRIC.
In 2017, AkayCentric released his smashing hit single “Mamma mia” produced by Nigerian producer ‘Ayzed’ and co-written by celebrity sogwriter ‘Klem’, the video was shot in Los Angeles USA (Directed Emmanual Fodjour). This release gained AkayCentric massive recognition across Africa and beyond.
AkayCentric was listed among the top 10 Nigerian artiste to watch out for in 2020 by opera mini news in December 2019.
