Spacey but not alienating, loud yet still light, painting panoramic sound against a moving melodic backdrop, Moving Panoramas make dreamy boot gaze rock from Austin, TX, led by songwriter, Leslie Sisson. Their 2015 debut LP 'One' & 2019 sophomore LP ‘In Two’ (both via Modern Outsider) received international acclaim & reached #1 radio charts. Starting off as a simple dream gaze trio & multiplying into a dream rock quintet, the music has expanded with more diversity, rhythm, volume, vocals, & instrumentation, such as the swimmy pedal steel, along with bandmates Rosie Castoe, Cara Tillman, Jody Suarez, and Phil McJunkins.
“Stylish, shimmery, harmony-laden pop song (think Warpaint or Dum Dum Girls) tapped into a driving, propulsive urgency" -Billboard. “Ingredients and the sentiment might be simple, but the outcome is disarmingly complex" -NPR. "Expansive sound that is rooted in slithering guitar-work and crisp vocals" -KCRW. “Hazy psych pop with the kind of intricate harmonies that instantly elevate things a couple inches off the ground" -BrooklynVegan. "The best band in Texas right now" -Houston Press.
