“Mellow” and “laid back” are the perfect words to describe the music of yonawo. Formed in 2017 in the southern prefecture of Fukuoka, Japan, the four young and talented boys came together because of their passion for music.

When they started releasing music in 2018, they were immediately noticed by passionate music lovers and were invited to various music festivals across the nation. Shota Aratani (Vocal) writes the music and lyrics and arrangements are done by all the members. The band does not only make their own music but also the artwork which drawn by Takafumi Nomoto (Drums).

They are not defined to specific genres or the instruments they play and are always ready to take on new challenges. If you want to know who they really are, the best way is to see them perform live because in that experience, you come to truly understand how free they are.
