With their three-part vocal harmonies, heartfelt lyrics and genre-blending signature sound, The Wandering Hearts burst onto the scene in 2018 with their debut album Wild Silence. Signed to Decca Records (discovered 30mins after uploading their first track to Soundcloud), the London-based band kicked off a whirlwind year by winning the coveted Bob Harris Emerging Artist Award at the UK Americana Awards before heading out on a sold-out album tour.
After being personally invited to the US by legend Marty Stuart, The Wandering Hearts became the first UK band to debut at The Ryman Auditorium and The Grand Ole Opry in the same week. Receiving a rapturous welcome and standing ovations, the band were invited back to the Opry the following week, after a trip to Memphis to support Marty Stuart at Graceland – live recordings from this show feature on the Deluxe edition of their album.
2019 has seen the band working on their second album in both the US and UK in-between shows and their first festival headline appearances in both countries, and most recently supporting Jack Savoretti on his UK summer outdoor dates, and Justin Townes Earle on his US tour.
