The Faces of America’s Invisible Population

Mar 12, 2019

3:30pm – 4:30pm CT

The US incarcerates the most people on the planet. 50% of these incarcerated people are parents. The collateral consequences are that over 10 million+ children in the US have been affected by parental incarceration at some point in their lives. This is an epidemic! This panel moderated by Ebony Underwood, founder/CEO of WE GOT US NOW -- a national organization dedicated to amplifying the issues, policies & practices that impact children & young adults with incarcerated parents -- will provide an in-depth look into this historically invisible population of children & young adults.
JOIN US in a compelling conversation with Pete Monsanto, a celebrity photographer who has been directly impacted, like Ebony, by his father's incarceration for over 30 years & is the subject of the NEW documentary, RUN FOR HIS LIFE.
