Our understanding of gender and sexuality has never evolved as much as it has in the past 4 years. For the first time in our history, people in the UK under the age of 19 are more likely to identify as 'not straight' than 'straight'. Gender is now understood to not be a binary identity and countries are finally beginning to acknowledge new gender identities on passports. The future is fluid but before that, our present is fluid.
