How might games and media enable individuals to connect with - and contribute to - the social movements that are working to achieve goals that matter to them? This session will begin with an overview of research on the tools and practices used by activists and social movement organizations and the civic engagement game we’re building to address the shortcomings of those tools. We’ll then brainstorm ideas that leverage games and narrative to profoundly increase participation in social movements.
