A new era of product design is emerging, thanks to the evolution of AI, prompting considerable debate about the transformative technology. AI is currently a $15 billion industry, on track to become a $70 billion industry by 2020. AI-powered tech is increasingly being incorporated into the products/services we use for example with chatbots and call centers. As we continue to foray deeper into this new frontier, designers need to better understand how to best leverage the technology, to not only give them an edge but also to prime themselves for the future allowing them to do their best work.
