Ingredients for an Empathetic Kitchen

Date TBA

In an age of increased awareness about mental health issues and the evergreen importance of creating positive life-work balance, this panel, led by award-winning sommelier Andy Chabot, will focus on fostering a healthy & supportive environment and workplace, buoyed by continuing education, engaging team building activities, transparency and more. The hospitality industry operates at a break-neck pace, and it’s not uncommon for the people in this service industry to focus on others while not taking care of themselves. The hours are long, the work’s grueling, kitchens are notoriously hot and uncomfortable, but it’s rewarding to serve others and do so over a plate of food or a glass of wine. Gain access and create opportunities for invaluable resources from the industry’s brightest stars.
