The Mayor of London's Busk in London (BiL) is a scheme to protect street performance (busking) from gentrification and complaints. BiL now programme over 7k hrs of busking each year on London’s streets. It's considered the model of best practice for cities wishing to harness street performance. The scheme is supported by ambassadors such as Nile Rodgers. We partnered with iZettle to launch a bespoke repeat contactless tipping solution - future-proofing a business model traditionally relying on cash tips. Our colleagues from City of Austin join us to discuss their busking strategy.
