As social media has embraced video, music has become a greater presence on Facebook, Snapchat and Twitter but are music creators getting paid for their contributions to these platforms? Once these digital platforms obtain a music license, how are the services, labels and publishers identifying what music is being uploaded in order to pay their artists and give them control over how their music is being shared? This panel will explore the current and future state of this complex equation.
