Blockchain Everywhere: Separating the Business Value form the BS
Executives who understand blockchain are sick of explaining it to others, and executives who don’t understand blockchain are sick of having it explained to them. But here’s the deal: It doesn’t matter whether you understand the technical intricacies of blockchain. You don’t need to know how internal combustion engines work to drive your car, do you? Much like the automobile has become society’s default mode of transportation, blockchain is going to become the default vehicle that drives business forward. In the near future, every business that is doing something worthwhile will have its own blockchain-supported token. Exchanges will no longer trade stocks for these companies, but will instead trade tokens, opening up a new idea of ownership.
This won’t be your typical “what is blockchain?” session. In this no-holds-barred discussion. Kiip’s Brian Wong and his panel of brand leaders will separate the business use cases from the blockchain BS. Key discussion points will include:
The tokenization of everything, and how blockchain will change the very ownership of companies
The blockchain posers (i.e., the companies and applications that are distracting from rather than contributing to the blockchain revolution)
The current impact of blockchain and a frank look at the near-term rollout of new applications
