K.yeezy is originally from Beaumont Tx born in the late 1980s raised in Magnolia Gardens projects taken in by her grandparents Florence Alexander and the late Arthur Alexander Sr. K.yeezy started doing music to express her thoughts of growing up in the struggle with hopes of breaking the cycle of poverty.
