Hunni
New Britain, Connecticut emcee, Hunni is determined to set her mark in the hip-hop culture. With music playing a major role in her life since her youngest days, today she’s grown into one of the most promising emerging female artists. In a genre that seems to be lacking female emcees who focus on substance and quality, Hunni offers way more than typical rap. Penning verses at the young age of 8 wasn’t laborious for Hunni, and by middle school, she was already writing full songs. After receiving a standing ovation for her stellar performance at her 7th grade talent show, she was sure that this is what she was destined to do for the rest of her life. She recently opened up for Styles P in her hometown, Cardi B at CT’s own Toad’s Place where she performed for a sold out crowd. This will also be here second year in a row performing at SXSW. With her unconditional love for Hip Hop, her consistency, ambition, and dedication, it won’t be long before Hunni is a well-known household name.
