VIXEVERSA represents the new wave of urban artists hailing from Detroit, Michigan.
The duo, Jay Denero and Dre Cash-PLXTINUM (born James Edison Davenport and
DeAndrew Marquis Nathan) had met during their Junior year of High School where they
shared the same studio class during first period. Jay Denero had recruited Dre Cash to
a rap group called Zona Gang which had 9 members at the time in 2013. Over the
course of the next two years, most of the members had dropped out of the group and by
2015 they were down to three artists.
During this time, the trio had begun performing at local events and showcases in and
around the Detroit Metro area where they gained a loyal fan base. In December of
2016, they were invited to perform at Imported from The D, where they won the largest
showcase in Detroit. Now, having been stamped as the “hottest group in the city”
picking up more momentum in their music career in 2017. Jay Denero and Dre Cash-
PLXTINUM relocated to New York City, rebranded as the Hip Hop duo, VIXEVERSA to
establish themselves as the most talented Hip Hop duo in urban music.
