Roots of Thought is a indie psych-rock band from Tulsa, OK. They released their debut EP "Familiar Feelings" in the spring of 2017, focusing on loss, love, and the emotions that feel all too familiar to most everyone. "Familiar Feelings" really allowed the band to blossom, having first formed in 2010, taking the band on tour through the mid-west, and selling out hometown venues. The following year, Jason Bauer (Synth and Keys) joined the band, sparking a new era and dimension to the band. They explored with their newest member, creating their latest single "Powdered Donut" released mid 2018, revealing and hinting to the new sounds being formed in the group. After stepping away from shows to return to writing, the band is making it's first appearance of 2019, at SXSW, then returning to the studio, to release new music, by this summer.
