Formed in 2013, ZRN is best described as an Experimental/Dark Ambient act. However, with the band pulling in elements from Avantgarde Noise, Doom, Industrial, Dark Folk, and Slow-core, the duo's sound is always in flux between fragility and brutality. This is evident in their intense performances which feature two guitars, a vast array of effect pedals, drum machines and synth modules, which are put to use as the pair weave together existing tracks with improvisational elements, to create both ear-piercing, dark noise as well as beautiful, droned-out soundscapes.

ZRN premiered their current set up as a duo at Copenhagen Psych Fest 2016, and have since had a busy live calendar in and outside of Denmark - including support for Bell Witch, Ulan Bator, Esben & the Witch - among others.
The duo has been featured twice on Drowned in Sound's "Some Velvet Mixtape" and Performed at WNIM'17.
ZRN released their most recent EP "Full Body Mirror" on Oct 25 2018. The EP is a twin release connected to their previous, critically acclaimed EP "Swim" from 2017.
