better known as her stage name Gangsta Boo or Lady Boo, is an American rapper from Memphis, Tennessee. She was the first and only female member of the Memphis-based hip hop group Three 6 Mafia. Her first solo album, Enquiring Minds, was released in 1998 and reached number fifteen on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and number 46 on the Billboard 200.[1][2] The album featured the surprise hit "Where Dem Dollas At!?"[3] Now relocated to Los Angeles, she has most notably gone on to work with current hip hop stars Run the Jewels and is slated to play Spain's coveted Primavera Sound Festival in 2019. Her recent collaborations with Eminem and Yelawolf truly show her notriety amongst legends of the game.

Many of today's hip hop artist has sampled the style of Gangsta Boo and sourced it into their own style, because she was the first female to do so at such an early time.
