Foa came into form after a winter recording along the LA river with Adam Rasmussen and Chris Lynch of Gardens and Villa. The sounds that grew from that time are a tender, melodically-saturated collection of neo-lullabies with deep rhythmic pulse. The smoldering poetry of this duo ritualistically weave analogue and digital into the sonic sphere in such a way that a door to another world is opened: for the heart ache, for the heart walk through. Their debut album, Naomi’s Last Dress, is an offering to the ancestors.
