Amanda Palmer & Edward Ka-Spel - 'The Clock At The Back Of The Cage'
"The Clock at The Back of The Cage” is a haunting, otherworldly stop-motion animated for a song co-written and performed by Amanda Palmer (The Dresden Dolls) and indie psychedelic hero Edward Ka-Spel (Legendary Pink Dots). With a nod to Jan Svankmajer, two live actors and a sea of ordinary objects transform under a single camera-view stationed far above, capturing a surreal journey of love, isolation, loss and fantasy, leaving more questions asked than answered. The viewer is enticed to draw from their own imagination as they are taken on a trip as a witness into the intimate dream-world happenings between two partners as they slumber and fight to stay connected.
