In this darkly comic new digital series, a young woman navigates her way around New York. It can be hard when you're looking at an Instagram that goes into the future, debating entering a portal into an alternate dimension, or battling your own roommates during an apocalypse. In high school, there is one night we all remember, it may even define some of us: SENIOR PROM. Over the course of a single night, six high school students are forced to confront doubts about identity, relationships, self-esteem and their future. With high school coming to a close, life's expectations are fundamentally challenged by something that is both terrifying and inevitable; growing up. Harold strands his apathetic teen son on the other side of the country. The challenge: make yourself interesting - find your way home and don’t do it quickly. He then alienates his self-hating daughter and pushes away his bored wife to setup this blunt, multi-generational black comedy/drama. Told from an Asian American perspective by writer|director X. Dean Lim with a script that scored in the top 5% on The Black List. Featuring Stephen Park (Fargo), Tamlyn Tomita (Berlin Station), Brandon Soo-Hoo (Tropic Thunder) and Nikki Soohoo (The Lovely Bones) and shot by the ethereal lens of Chris Saul (Nike, Lenovo), First World Problems asks just how bad is your shit, really? Fed up with her narcissistic boyfriend and looking for an escape, Maxine decides to go on a fantastic French juice cleanse that promises to transform her life. The cleanse catapults Max into a fever dream of quirky LA personalities and insane scenarios. Co-created, written, and directed by Flora Birnbaum and Sarah Scarlett Downing, Produced by Natalie Sandy, and Executive Produced by Leslye Headland (Bachelorette, Sleeping With Other People, Heathers), the series stars Anna Margaret Hollyman and features Tony Award Winner Reed Birney and Dan Pfau. My Dead Ex is your classic, will-they-won't-they romance story. Charley is living your typical teenage girl’s life. Ben, Charley’s not so secret admirer, isn’t living at all. But a little thing like death can’t stop these two teens from falling in love. Or maybe it can. It’s been one year since the election of Donald Trump, and there’s a new wave of women running for political office. We follow five female candidates who are jumping into everything from gubernatorial showdowns to city-council races, getting inside the fascinating, difficult, and inspiring process of campaigning. A natural born night owl, JESSIE can’t just go for a solo walk at 2am to “clear her mind” without fearing her shadow. So, when she can’t sleep and needs some air, she heads to the 24-hour grocery store. Peppered with absurd insights into Jessie's wild imagination, NIGHT OWL is an honest and evocative account of a young woman's struggle to overcome her loneliness and find independence in a complicated world. Though a comedy, at its very heart: NIGHT OWL is an undercover punk show about overcoming the loneliness and anxiety that comes along with being a young person in 2018. There seems to be a lot of shame associated with feeling lonely; NIGHT OWL aims to quell that shame through comedy.
