There is a growing demand from investors to understand not just how much money they make, but how they make it. In the public markets, this is characterized by ESG (Environment, Sustainability & Governance) policies. In the startup world this is called Impact investing. We will discuss and explore how investors, principally family offices, are accelerating their interest and activities in Impact investing, and how these practices don't have to compromise their after-tax return expectations while also satisfying their Impact agenda.
