Africa is projected to account for half the world's population growth by 2050 and 7 of 10 of the world’s fastest growing internet populations. U.S. venture firms are increasingly investing in African startups, and with recent visits from folks like Mark Zuckerberg and Sundar Pichai, the world is beginning to pay serious attention to tech on the continent. In the session, panelists will delve into how African startups are building tech ecosystems across the continent to solve big problems from food scarcity to clean water access. By investing in today’s young African leaders, we will catalyze a generation of tech pioneers who will build the solutions to some of the world’s most pressing challenges.
