Style for All: Universal Designed Clothing

Have you ever imagined not being able to put on a dress shirt within ten minutes? Mobility impairment and paralysis often impact a person’s ability to wear clothing. Initiated at MIT in 2014 and currently operating in conjunction with Parsons, Open Style Lab's work highlights the concerns people with disabilities have about the limited choices in clothing that inhibit their potential to take part in everyday life. From utilizing AR when creating accessible clothing to smart performance fabrics, hear stories of collaborations with people with disabilities.
