In his inaugural address, President Donald Trump vowed to restore "unity" in the United States. But already the rhetoric, culture, and policies of the country, have declared: immigrants from certain nations as not 'fit enough for this country', transgender individuals as not fit enough for our military, and perpetrators of sexual assault as victims. Even entire Cities, and Nations across the world, are being scolded via Presidential tweet for not being enough of an American ally.
In this existential moment for our nation's identity, former Barack Obama White House senior advisor Vikrum Aiyer takes the stage with the ACLU leadership, Mayors, and Ravi Patel (Actor & Writer of the critically acclaimed Meet the Patels) to examine the challenges fueling divisions in our country, and the opportunities to build bridges among American communities.
