How to Stay an Innovation Hub When You’re in the Dark

After a natural disaster (category 5 hurricane) ravaged Puerto Rico and its already dwindling economy, thinking about the island as an emerging innovation hub can certainly seem quixotic. However, a dire picture does not easily defeat those that use innovation and entrepreneurship as a natural reaction to hardship. In a time of complete darkness (literally), great and unrelenting entrepreneurs, a driven economic development agency, a supportive tech startup network and a reinvigorated global accelerator can hold the fort and put an otherwise obliterated ecosystem on the map, yet again.
