Sickboy Podcast is hilarious, ridiculously insightful and absolutely determined to break down the stigma associated with illness and disease! Inspired by one of the hosts' life long battle with Cystic Fibrosis, it's a show with three best friends who recognized that when faced with difficult situations, illnesses and diseases, people tighten up, get awkward, and they simply don't know what to say. The boys help people understand that sometimes the best way to deal with illness, disease, and life is simply to laugh. At SXSW they will be joined by Andrew Palmer, a professional strongman, and Director of Engineering at Distiller, the world's largest liquor and spirits application, and a Leukemia survivor. While still undergoing chemotherapy, Andrew's working toward returning to competition in his sport, growing his company, and finding ways to help people learn about their own diagnosis in the ever changing world of oncology treatments. If you see them out and about, come say hello, but please don't grab Andrew's beard, it makes him grumpy!
