After completing her PhD in brand and business development of entrepreneurial designer fashion enterprises based in London & New York, Jennifer returned home to ATX to leverage her research for the development of innovation within the creative industries. She launched the Austin Fashion Initiative in April 2017 to promote and support the local creative enterprises and professionals that intersect with the fashion industry. She serves on the Independent Fashion Advisory Board, an international coalition of business professionals based in the US, UK, Australia and Asia who work to support business transformation and technology integration for retail, fashion and creative tech. Jennifer is also an Entrepreneur-in-Residence for G51, promoting new approaches to entrepreneurship education at leading academic institutions. She continues to shine a light on opportunities for scalable innovation and new technology in the fashion industry through consulting, writing and speaking engagements.
