Jenifer Loy (National Instruments): Mentor
This session requires RSVP, and access will only be available to badge types listed under "Primary Access."
Jen Loy created and now manages the Software User Experience Design Team at National Instruments. She created this team from the ground up, hiring and integrating a talented group of interaction designers, visual designers, and user researchers into an established team of software developers. Through continued success and proven results, the team has grown to staff multiple product teams under multiple VPs and has become a key differentiator for new products.
Jen Loy started her career as an engineer but discovered her passion for design excellence in 2011. UX provided a natural home to combine an eye for detail, empathy for the user, and ability to tell a complete story. Prior to her leadership of design at NI, Jen performed roles including Product Management, Technical Marketing, Recruiting and Training, and Applications Engineering. She holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Texas A&M University.
