John J. Paulos has been an active Angel Investor since 2008. He has invested in more than 40 companies and has had numerous Board roles. From 2012 to 2015 he was a Director of the Central Texas Angel Network. From 2004 to 2008 he was Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Industrial Products Division of Cirrus Logic. Prior to that, he served as Vice President of Engineering for Cicada Semiconductor, an Austin startup acquired by Vitesse Semiconductor in 2004. Dr. Paulos started his career as a faculty member of North Carolina State University, leaving as a tenured Associate Professor in 1993. Dr. Paulos holds B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
