More than 80% of students in Fresno and Stockton live below the federal poverty line. Each City has launched initiatives to help young people matriculate from high school and continue to succeed after graduation. Stockton Mayor Michael Tubbs and FUSE Fellow Wendy McCulley will share how they have each worked to galvanize a community wide effort to lift up their most vulnerable kids towards educational success.
