VR Codes of Conduct in the Virtual Wild West

Date TBA

Virtual reality is the new frontier of human interaction. Some rules and policies governing these spaces will come from platforms or hosts, while others will emerge organically. Dress codes for avatars and codes of behavior limiting nudity, violence and anonymity in public places will arise and be enforced by virtual bouncers. Nevertheless, some policies and laws will not map cleanly onto 3D virtual spaces. How will these rules emerge in the wild west of virtual social spaces?
