Fighting Global Hunger with Small-Farm Tech

Mar 12, 2018

12:30pm – 1:30pm CT

The work of small-scale farmers is vital, producing ~70% of global food supply. But these are some of the poorest people on earth, with over 1 billion living below the poverty line. By 2050, we’ll rely on them to feed ~3 billion more humans. These farmers have been under-served by tech innovation, providing a great opportunity for impact. In this session we explore how entrepreneurs are creating practical tech solutions to increase food security while protecting the environment.
